GT vs ALK

Hello GT,

our next match is not this monday, but the next one: 14/5

We play against ALK, from Hungary I think.
A good team from what I heard.

A little question.. what is the meaning of STC 3 ? Strickly Technical championship third edition ?

I'm a "full speed" player or a track witch need 3-4 drift ... but not drift everywhere ^^.

You're 4 so no forfeit, and with my time i should be last on each track ^^ So don't count on me :p !

Don't know what STC means, but the tracks are made to see real players skills :p
Maybe a full speed tournament exists, but i'm not sure it would be as interesting as this one

Oh, and even if you'll be bad, i hope you'll be there Monday in the case where one player couldn't finally play this match. :p

Yeah but to be skilled, you need to play a lot mostly if you're not even a pro drifteur ^^ And for the moment i play about 1h/week ! To have the same time than you on tech track i will take 2/3h more ^^ and in addition i've got a lot of work... I learn Unix... have to finish 6 chapter for in two week...

So don't count on me :p !

ALK suggested that we should play at 21u.
It's ok for me, and for you guys?

We play on their server in Hungaria: Alk STC3R5
It's open all week and you can practice the maps there if you want.

i invite u all to our server all time until and later on the match too.
you can find it under HUN servers, it is called «Alk» STC3 Round5 training
I have question about the match.
Would it be maybe better if we play a match earlier as 21:00 CET? (no problem if not, just would be better for example 20:00)

Other,

i have seen, u have many members registered for stc, we too. So if you think too, we could play with more player than 5. I think we can have 7-8 players for sure.
Dont forget, 4 player is only the minimum, and no maximum player limit in rules.
And of course: more player = more fun

About the time: 20.30u would be possible, but not earlier.

Yes it's true that we have many members registered, but only a few react and like to play (the others just pretend to be dead I think, don't care anymore...).

@GT: Genius will open a server on saterday(afternoon) to practice the maps a bit. It would be nice if some of you could join. He will post the hour later.

5vs 5 is normal.
we wait all your players, anyway we gonna be at the server from about 19:00, so lets write the match start to 21:00, and if we can start earlier (all player is there and teams ready for the match), that is no problem.

My times on the maps for monday:

Wally-A: 1.04.40
Fez-B: 1.04.50
Imagine: 31.3 on single and 1.40.00 on multi

These times are ok if you can drive them on rounds, but there is room for improvement

We play today our last STC3-match.
It will be at 21u in Hungary (ALK-server).
Try to be present at 20.30u to do some warm-up.

I haven't discussed about the rules with ALK, but I think we shall do 1 or 2 wam-up laps before each round.
Remember, it's up to 7 rounds and the multi is up to 5 rounds.
It's nice if you can do a 1.02 or 1.03, but remember that always finishing is far more important. One or two members out and we can't win the round.

yes we havent benn spoken about the rules.
i offer following:


Server settings:
Players: 16, Spectators: 20, password for playing: stc3r5, spect has no pass, but if u ask we can do it too, in that case the spect pass will be the same: stc3r5

Team mode,
Points=5 or 7 depending on map,
Use alternative rules=ON
max.points=10 (5vs5)

multilap map (C-map) until 5wins,
round maps (A and B map) until 7 win

each map starts with a few warm-up round, if the teams saying they are ready than we do a restart, and race begins.

we say cpectator is allowed, possibly free mode, but i dont care if i'm spected (well i possibly not playing ), just tell if it is a problem.
